A Bit About Me
My name is Favorite Iradukunda. I am a registered nurse and assistant professor at the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing, University of Massachusetts Amherst. My research focuses on cross-cultural and diasporic health and reproductive justice. Specifically, my work aims to address health inequities and center community knowledge to strengthen holistic wellbeing for Black women, families, and communities, particularly Black immigrant women and communities.
I hold a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an M.Sc. in Nursing from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a BSN from the University of Rwanda.
I am fluent in Kinyarwanda, French, and English.
